South is being produced by one of the successful production houses in India, (Hombale) Films. Hombale Film has made block buster films like K.G.F Chapter 1, K.G.F Chapter 2, Kantara, Salaar and Yuvarathnaa. To be produced by this production house in association with well-known director Prashanth Neel of the South Indian film industry, the script of the film has been written by Prashant Neel. Neel has earlier directed the blockbuster K.G.F film series. The film will star Kannada superstar Sri Murali and Rukmini Vasanth in lead roles. Bagheera is an upcoming Kannada language action thriller pan-India film. Dr. Suri will direct this film. The film will also release in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam languages.
